Wendy Mitchell, Ambassador
Wendy is a fifth generation Albertan from a small city in the middle of the province. Her first career of 20+ years was as an orthodontic dental assistant, with many clients with facial deformities.
At the age of 52, she returned to study receiving a certificate in Social Work from MRC and then received her degree in Social Work from the University of Calgary. The last degree brought the distinction of a student to have graduated from SAIT, MRC and the University of Calgary.
Wendy continues to work in the Muslim community. Being an Ambassador for OPC melds nicely with her interest in helping others and her ongoing interest in volunteering.
